If Wishes Were Fishes

2012 Holiday Wishlist

I have the honor of being a Christmas baby - or almost, anyway. My birthday is on December 21st, the Winter Solstice, so i get to do an awful lot of wishing this time of year. It's also an extra special day this year, the day the world happens to be ending. In which case, wishlists will be rather pointless. But just in case anyone was wondering what my final wishes happen to be - i've made it easy for you to wish along with me.

Gimme Gimme #1

This will be pretty self explanatory. I find myself compiling urgent wish-lists often. For me, spending an evening on the internet will result in a handful of saved bookmarks linked to items i just need. So I'm sharing them here in case you needed to need them, too.

#1. Nasty Gal's first line of original designs is out - and while a lot of the styles on the site are a little too too for me, (not to mention i think you need the legs of a supermodel to pull most of it off) i am dying over this glitch skirt.

#2. I'm also really excited about the Nasty Gal original denim line of high HIGH waisted jeans in the dark indigo. Even though the high-waisted wave has been around for a while, it still seems absurdly difficult to find really high waistlines. and i like 'em high

#3. I wear lipstick every single day. I am a lipstick fanatic. I started wearing it for work several years ago and at this point i feel quite literally naked without it. But there are some days when lipstick just seems like too much, and yet i still need a pop of color. For those days, I've been searching for the perfect lip stain. After reading a lot of reviews on the internet (reading make-up reviews online is totally one of my guilty pleasures) I am really interested in trying the Smashbox Limitless Lip Stain & Color Seal Balm, probably in Guava.
